Chapbook
We made a(nother) chapbook! That makes two years in a row.
This year’s table of contents is as follows:
Jason S. Ridler, “A Cemetery Romance”
Michael J. DeLuca, “The Cannon and the Prophetess”
Erin Hoffman, “In Lixus, Close to Waking”
Scott H. Andrews, “Adrift in Ishtakar”
Justin Howe, “Signature Days”
The subtitle, Imaginary Places, references the fact that each of us took inspiration from the fictional lands to be found in Manguel and Guadalupi’s Dictionary of Imaginary Places.
As was the case last year, profit is not the object, but rather the fun, the challenge, the experience, and best of all, the chance to let people like you read and enjoy our fiction. To that effect, you can
download the free electronic version here (print-quality PDF, 4.1 Mb). Or, if you are so inclined, you can send us the price of shipping via the PayPal link below, and we’ll mail you a hard copy.
The first chapbook came out in July of 2008. It looks like this:
It contains five short stories (one from each of us):
Michael J. DeLuca, “Construction-Paper Moon”
Jason S. Ridler, “Impracticable Dreams”
Scott H. Andrews, “Colonized”
Erin Hoffman, “The Recurrence of Orpheus”
Justin Howe, “Welcome to Foreign Lands”
There have been some quite nice Reviews:
- from John Klima at Tor.com
- from Adam Golaski at Open Letters Monthly
- From Rich Horton’s The Elephant Forgets
- On Deborah J. Brannon’s Livejournal, Talks to Wolves
